Calls for Papers

The Eighth International Conference on Catholic Social Thought and Business Education
University of Dayton, Ohio
June 18-20, 2012
In an effort to energize mission-driven business education in Catholic universities, the selection committee is seeking papers that make contributions to the following two areas:

1. Exploring how a Catholic university deepens and revitalizes its culture and institutionalizes its mission and identity in business education.
2. Providing curricular materials, processes, models and ideas that reflect the mission and identity of business education at a Catholic university.

Please send a two-page, single-spaced proposal which includes the following: thesis/purpose, outline of paper, as well as a one paragraph biography that includes institutional position and affiliation, recent publications, research interest, practical experience.

Justice in Jesuit Higher Education, Transforming the World and Being Transformed
Authors are invited to submit their work for possible
publication in the first book to consider the topic of Justice in Jesuit Higher Education, Transforming
the World and Being Transformed, to be published by Fordham University Press. The editors encourage authors to submit papers that challenge us to articulate how our Jesuit colleges and universities create an educational community inspired to transform the lives of our students and ourselves.

Studies in Education and Spirituality seeks book-length projects focusing on the relationship between spirituality, religious plurality, education and public life. This series is edited by Peter Laurence, director of the Education as Transformation Project, and Victor Kazanjian, Jr., dean of religious and spiritual life, Wellesley College.
