- American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Religion
The work of the Dialogue is organized around the themes of evolution, human nature, bioethics, and bioresponsibility. It organizes fora, conferences and consultations between members of the scientific and religious communities, develops workshops and training seminars to educate the religious community and journalists who report on religious issues about scientific developments. The Dialogue also undertakes research projects and studies to assess scientific developments and explore their ethical and religious implications. - Boston Theological Institute (BTI)
An ecumenical consortium, the Institute sponsors the New England Center for Faith and Science Exchange, the BTI Religion and Science Program, and the BTI Program in Religion and Ecology. - Catholic Universities and Ecological Sustainability
A number of Catholic College and University organizations—including the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities and the Franciscan, Jesuit and Lasallian associations—have teamed up to develop a thorough and thoughtful toolkit to encourage mission integration on ecological sustainability and Catholic higher education. The toolkit connects sustainability to Catholic social teaching, highlights models from a number of Catholic universities, identifies a range of recommended policies, and suggests ways to advocate for change on campus and off. - Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences (CTNS)
Located next to the University of California at Berkeley, the Center is affiliated with the Graduate Theological Union (GTU), an ecumenical consortium of six Protestant and three Roman Catholic seminaries and a graduate school in religious studies. Counterbalance is a non-profit organization working to promote interdisciplinary education for a general audience. ITEST is an international, interdisciplinary, interfaith Christian not-for-profit corporation. Formerly the Chicago Center for Religion and Science, the Zygon Center is a program arm of the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago (LSTC) operated in collaboration with the Center for Advanced Study in Religion and Science (CASIRAS). A $2.5 million research program sponsored by the Metanexus Institute on Religion and Science, the program seeks investigation on various aspects of the sociocultural, psychological, and neurological factors that underlie the processes of spiritual transformations of individuals and groups.
