This multi-phase project, which honors our alumna, Sister Dorothy Kazel, who was martyred while working with the poor, first provides a seminar to explain Catholic Social Teaching to interested faculty within the framework of the Ursuline charism. This will include a forum where faculty discuss Catholic Social Teaching as it relates to their individual academic vocations. Later, we invite faculty from Gannon University and other institutions to expand this discussion, share how their work furthers the aims of Catholic Social Teaching, both locally and globally, and give faculty a place to find and share resources relating to justice.
