The June 2023 ruling by the Supreme Court on the use of race in a factor among other considerations for admission was a blow to the deepest values embedded in Catholic higher education. Our administrative body, the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, issued a strong statement about its stance and commitment to creating paths for those on the margins onto Catholic campuses.
