This year the focus of our Booster Shot seminars held once each semester on Zoom was Collegium-Influenced Teaching. With time to breathe just around the corner during summer’s change of pace, you may enjoy re-visiting recordings of those conversations. In fall, Steve Mayer, a physical chemist at University of Portland shared Lectio Entropia, in which he discussed how he adapts the form of Lectio Divina to the teaching of very complex concepts in his advanced chemistry classes. The spring offering was Historian Elizabeth Drummond (Loyola Marymount University) and psychologist Marianne Lloyd (Seton Hall University) sharing strategies for Collegium-Influenced Grading. Both videos are 55 minutes long.
