News From Alums!

· Esteban del Rio (participant, mentor, Landy Awardee) was named Director of the Frances G. Harpst Center for Catholic Thought and Culture at the University of San Diego.

· Alejandro E. Nava (participant, 1996) just had his book Street Scriptures: Between God and Hip-Hop published by University of Chicago Press.

· Michael Salé (participant 2019, mentor 2022) was recently awarded tenure and promotion to Associate Professor of Business Administration at Stonehill College.

· Rachel Wheeler (participant, 2021) was recently awarded tenure and promotion to Associate Professor of Theology at University of Portland.

· Elise Moentmann (participant, 2016) received the Spirit of Holy Cross Award from the Congregation of Holy Cross community at University of Portland. Elise also became the Interim Provost at UP in January.

· Karen Eifler (director and Ted Lasso superfan) published “Why Religion Needs Ted Lasso” in the March 15 issue of National Catholic Reporter, just in time for the arrival of that show’s third season.
