Pilgrims of Hope

Inspired by the Jubilee Year, the Holy Cross motto Ave Crux Spes Unica (Hail the Cross, Our Only Hope), and Saint Mary’s College’s Philosophy of Walking course, this program invites faculty to explore the Catholic intellectual tradition, Catholic higher education, and the Holy Cross charism. Through readings and group walks, faculty will learn about the history and mission of the Sisters of the Holy Cross and the College, while practicing the synodal process of walking together as pilgrims of hope.
